While Nera did grow up with her tribe, she was banished upon reaching maturity. She is wary of strangers that pry too deep into her personal life. But she opens right up when she knows that she is in a safe space.
Nera is very much an enabler and will often be the catalyst of bad decision making. If you're tipsy, she's already trashed. Sass is literally entwined into her DNA.
Although, she will never neglect her personal hygiene and is very fashion forward. If you see her without makeup on, no you didn't. Nera also prides herself on dressing cute and flirting with anything that shows interest.
And yes, she does in fact have a bnuuy ear swim mode. You can most definitely tell her mood by her ear posture. She does have resting bitch face, but it readily turns into a soft smile or a smirk.

Njála grew up in a relatively small tribe with her extended family. She has a younger brother named Adrionus (city name is Adrian). Quickly adapting to using an axe, she chose to help protect her home from intruders. At 26, a year before the Calamity, she met a stranger that entered her forest looking to hunt. Not knowing what a Garlean was, she developed a friendship with them and grew to yearn for life outside.
A year into her relationship with the stranger, her village Elders demanded she begin breeding. She refused and almost killed the male paired with her. Her banishment was immediate and she never looked back, only pausing to kiss her brother good-bye. Nera traveled Othard for a year until the Calamity hit. In the ensuing chaos, she hopped a ship to Thavnair and eventually Aldenard, letting her wanderlust guide her steps.
Deciding to pursue the art of the axe further than her limited training, She found her feet landing in Limsa Lominsa. Immediately taking a liking to the rough and tumble pirate town, she hires her services out as an adventurer while living in the Mizzenmast Inn. Occasionally she will take an extended trip around Eorzea, during which she enjoys camping in the wilderness. Someday she wants to see if she can find the soldier that first opened her eyes, but Garleans aren't exactly prevalent where she lives.
